Bush: Iraqi war criminals to be 'hunted relentlessly'
WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Bush, accusing Saddam Hussein's regime of committing scores of atrocities against the Iraqi people and prisoners of war, said those responsible will be "hunted relentlessly and judged severely."
The president and his surrogates are intensifying their criticism of Saddam's regime as they seek to rally public opinion behind a war that some now say may last longer than expected.
Might I suggest that you finish the war that's on your plate, Mr. Bush. And stop chewing with your mouth full.
Read between the lines folks. As the war goes, so goes Bush's numbers. He knows it.
It's showtime. It's time for the collective mouthpiece that is Washington to start asking the American people: "Are you going to believe me or your lying eyes?"
