Marines die in suicide bombing as capital hit by new clashes
Several American Marines died in a suicide bombing in the centre of Baghdad yesterday after a day of intense battles between US forces and Saddam loyalists, mostly from other Arab countries.
The attack occurred near the hotel where most foreign journalists are staying and close to the square where a statue of President Saddam was toppled on Wednesday.
THIS was what I was trying to get across the raging warmongers. You all were so damn busy patting each other on the back yesterday (like you've done ANYTHING) and trying to exact apologies from the left.
IT ISN'T OVER YOU BONEHEADS. While you were all licking your TV screens with all the exciting pictures of the statue tumbling, marines were dying. While you were busy bashing the crap out of me for my differing opinions, MARINES WERE DYING. While you were lecturing ME on morality, people were dying.
You disrespectful heathens. How dare you accuse me of being unAmerican because I choose to wait to celebrate til ours boys are no longer dying.
You are simpleminded cretins. How dare you accuse me of ANYTHING. I'm not the one buying the propaganda being fed to me.
DID ANY OF YOU HEAR ABOUT THE MARINES WHO DIED??? It wasn't reported. No, we were too busy watching the american dream machine, known as the media, where everything is nice and shiny. We've all seen the damn statue topple now 100 times. And while the raging right was busy screaming 'I told ya so', marines were dying.
I've said it before and I'll say it again; I'll not celebrate until the war is over and our POW's are found. The statue party was great. It was exciting. It was a well deserved victory FOR OUR SOLDIERS. It was also a very nice sound bite. And now, once again, I'm unamerican because I'm not dancing naked in the streets.
Maybe I'm not celebrating because I'm paying attention. I'm paying attention to something other than the american propaganda machine. It doesn't matter which side of he issue you're on. All american media is propaganda, some swings in your favor, some in mine. But it's all crap. And the fact that NOT ONE MAJOR NETWORK REPORTED THE SUICIDE BOMBER TIL TODAY PROVES IT.
But I guess they figured America didn't want their party rained on with the truth. And you know what? They were right...
To my "regular" ragin' righties, I'm not including you in this rant. This was for some new friends I've made!
