U.S. Commander: No evidence Iraq tried to deploy WMD in battle

Lt. Gen. William S. Wallace's Top Three Reasons The Iraqis Didn't Use WMD's Against the U.S. in the WAR: (don't confuse this with Lettermans' Top Ten List below because this isn't funny...ok it's a little funny.)

3. IN THEIR HASTE TO HIDE MATERIAL FROM INSPECTORS, THEY WERE SO CLEVER IN DISGUISING THAT AND
BURYING IT SO DEEP, IT COULD NOT BE RETRIEVED RAPIDLY ENOUGH... (huh?)

2. U.S. FORCES MOVED TOO FAST FOR IRAQIS TO RESPOND... (see reason #3)

1. PRE-WAR INITIATIVES URGING COMMANDERS NOT TO USE WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION SUCCEEDED!
(oh yeah, cuz they've been so damn cooperative up to this point...)

The thing that jumped out at me about this story was this:

Wallace was catapulted to public attention in the early days of the war when he was quoted as saying that "the enemy we're fighting is different from the one we'd war-gamed against" and remarked on overextended supply lines.

Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and other top Pentagon officials downplayed Wallace's comments.

"I suppose everyone can have their own view," Rumsfeld said at the time.

Because the Army and the secretary have sometimes clashed, virtually every strong statement by top Army officers or officials is often viewed through that lens.
The occasionally acerbic Rumsfeld is reported to be generally displeased with the Army's response to his quest to transform the military into a lighter, more agile and flexible force.

Um, does it bother anyone else that Rumsfled The All-Powerful is so damn arrogant that he doesn't listen to the guy IN CHARGE OF THE WAR??? Lt. Wallace is the guy in charge in Iraq, no? He's the head honcho, he's where the buck stops, he's the top dog over all the Army in Iraq.

And the Whitehouse blows off his opinions. "Because everyone has their own view."

Well tell me, you megalomaniac, what is your view? Nonono, I don't mean Pennsylvania Avenue, I mean how did the Iraqi sun feel on your face? How did the sand taste? Did it hurt your ears when the shock and awe started?

What? You're not there? You say you're in the Whitehouse? You say you've been there for the duration of the war??? You say you base your opinions on the reports you receive that favor your position? OHHHHH! Well no wonder you don't listen to your Army Lt Gen! You're MUCH more capable of calling this war from your nifty little office in the WH. Certainly your view of the rose garden equips you to be better informed than the commanding General. Why didn't you just say that in the first place?

Ok, I'm done. No wait.

ASSHAT!

Ok, now I'm done!
