The War of the Words (The True Story of the 101st Fighting Keyboards)

If you've never seen a Ken Burns documentary, you are truly missing out. The Civil War, The West, and Baseball are my particular favorites.

This, however, is no Ken Burns documentary.

War of the Words is a hilarious, 5 part snarkumentary (I just made that up, it's not really a word) on the wonderful world of Republican bloggers and how they rabidly banged out the Whitehouse's message in the months leading up to the Iraqi war.

"We're determined that the brave sacrifices of the keyboarders be memorialized in an appropriate fashion. Many of them had to watch hours and hours of Fox news to gather strength for their screeds. Some of them refreshed the Drudge Report for hours at a time..."

Chapter Titles include:

1. "The Drums of War"

2. "Mission Accomplished"

3. "Well, Not Accomplished Exactly, So Much As - Look, Just Shut-up, Okay?"

No one gets out unscathed. Simply wonderful. Watch it here...

Shamelessly pilfered from Crooks and Liars (I love those guys)
